  • Sixteen (16) years as DISTRICT COURT JUDGE in Burke, Catawba and Caldwell Counties including 4 years and CHIEF DISTRICT COURT JUDGE. As Chief Judge, Judge Jones brought Family Court to the district and established case management rules for all Civil cases as well as Family law cases of divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, property settlement (equitable distribution).
  • Over nine (9) years in PRIVATE PRACTICE handling cases in Western North Carolina involving many types of civil and criminal litigation.


WHAT HAS JON BEEN DOING LATELY?


  • Going back to private practice for the last seven (7) years, Jon has been concentrating his practice in areas of litigation including all types of domestic or family law disputes, civil personal injury matters as well as criminal and traffic cases. In addition, Jon handles wills, estates, contracts and many other non-litigation matters.
  • Representing a wide range of clients, including many attorneys, businesses, local government bodies and individuals, Jon has earned the respect of his colleagues and those he has represented.
